C.L. Parker
C.L. Parker’s practice concentrates on general commercial litigation at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts, with particular emphasis on complex commercial disputes, consumer class actions, product liability litigation, and contract disputes. C.L. also has experience with shareholder disputes, insurer bad faith, and employment disputes. She honed her litigation skills at Atlanta’s largest litigation-only law firm, where she represented large and small businesses and major insurance firms in a wide range of litigation.
C.L. understands that there are many ways to resolve a case successfully, whether by obtaining summary judgment, trying a case to verdict, winning on appeal, or—when the circumstances demand—negotiating a satisfactory settlement. C.L. has successfully litigated cases asserting potentially high-exposure claims in jurisdictions considered the most hostile to corporate defendants, defeating a number of cases at the motion to dismiss stage. She understands that not all corporate disputes can be handled alike, and she takes great pride in partnering with clients to develop and then execute strategies tailored to their needs and the specific circumstances they encounter.
C.L. also counsels commercial clients outside of the litigation context. She provides a wide range of services, including advisement on preventative litigation strategies and contracts. For instance, she assists clients with drafting and reviewing asset purchase agreements, supplier agreements, operating agreements, and employment policies, all with the goal of minimizing the risk of future litigation.
